Mrs. Gladys Thompson, our own executive Director was awarded the Humanitarian of the Year (2007) by the Fayetteville Women's Council.It truly warms our heart to know that we have one of the treasures of fayetteville working with us on a daily basis whose heart is for the betterment of the people of the homeless community.

The Fayetteville City Rescue Mission participated in the festivities during this years festival. We passed out hygeine kits, clothes and information about the organization.

Fayetteville Christmas Parade 2008!!
This year was our first year participating in the Fayetteville Christmas parade and we LOVED it. A huge thank you goes out to all who came out and saw us, to the ladies for being so gracious and participating, the babies who were all smiles during the entire event and to team Thompson for pulling out all the stops and getting the job done.
